PhD-student: Mara Ruff
Mara Ruff studied Chemical Biology (Bachelor) in Dortmund. She performed her Bachelor-Thesis at Merck KGaA in Darmstadt with focus on EGF-receptor-mutations in lung cancer cells. After that she studied Biomedicine in Mainz and did her master thesis in the field of molecular hepatology at the university clinic of Mainz. Since August 2011 she works in the group of Dr. Petra Kluger at Fraunhofer Institute of Interfacial Engineering and Biotechnology in Stuttgart. In her PhD thesis at the University of Stuttgart she will focus on the interactions between surface-modified titan implants and primary human cells.
